My notebook computer broke down
Squirrel and I were studying hard in order to prepare the midterm exam. We studied in my room. After studying for a while, she told me that she felt a little hungry and thirsty. She wanted to brew some chocolate milk. When she brewed it up and ready to drink, the bad thing was happened. She spilt accidentally the hot chocolate milk on my notebook computer. We not only wiped quickly the keyboard with tissue and cloth but used the hair dryers to blow it. But my computer still could not type any word and broke down soon. Thus we took it to the ASUS agency on Qing-nian road. The ASUS attendant told us that engineer had to spend three days to fix my computer. That meant that I had no computer to use until three days later.

Usage problem: "to prepare the midterm exam". Only the teacher prepares the midterm exam. Students "prepare for the midterm exam".
Usage problem #2: "and ready to drink" ==> "and was ready to drink".
Usage problem #3: "the bad thing was happened" ==> "a bad thing happened". This is inexcusable for a 3rd-year English major. There is nowhere in native-speaker English that you will see or hear "X was happened". Why do you write and say that? Please be aware of this gross error and correct it. And I'm not talking exclusively to you, Alice. Lot's of students at STUT use this obnoxious structure.
Let this be a lesson to you and everyone else. Computer hardware and liquids do not mix. When you work on your computer, especially your notebook computer, keep food and drinks far, far away. Even if you can get your computer fixed fairly quickly and for free, it is an unnecessary waste of time and energy to have to take it to the repair shop for something that could have easily been avoided. Having to have it fixed was what we call a "hassle" in English slang.
